2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee Championships on ABC
If you’re a frequent reader of Doobybrain.com, you’ll know that for the past 2 years at around this time, I’ve been obsessed with the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
For those who have never seen a championship round broadcast live on TV, know this: IT IS THE BEST KIND OF REALITY TELEVISION THERE IS.
Seriously, there’s nothing funnier, more awkward, and more intelligent that you can watch.
This year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee Championships is being broadcast on ABC on May 30th from 8PM to 10PM EDT. If you’re curious, you can watch the sucky spellers flunk out of the competition NOW on ESPN (check local listings for times). ESPN has been showing the semi-finalist rounds for the past week.
