Contact juggling involves the manipulation of an object in space (usually a glass sphere) in such a way that it looks like it is floating on its own.
The first time I saw somebody contact juggling was in Melbourne on Swanston Street. The guy was standing in front of Starbucks and performing his act for some money. It was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen.
I occasionally see the same guy contact juggling in front of Starbucks, and every time I get a chance to, I stop and watch him for a good couple of minutes. It’s really mesmerizing. The video above has the same effect on me.
