Obama becomes first African-American major party nominee

It’s not official until Hillary Clinton concedes, but it’s pretty clear already that Barack Obama will be the Democratic party’s presidential nominee in the upcoming 2008 election. This will make him the nation’s first ever African-American presidential nominee for a major American political party.
History in the making, folks!
Also, Hillary Clinton said earlier that she’d be interested in running as Vice President with Obama.
This is Barack Obama.
