How Different Groups Voted: 2008 Democratic Primaries

The New York Times has gathered together the exit polls stats from most of the States and put together this great interactive graphic to show how specific demographics voted in the 2008 Democractic Presidential Primaries.
Believe it or not, it’s true that men voted for Barack Obama and women voted for Hillary Clinton. It’s also true that blacks voted for Obama while whites voted mostly for Clinton.
Generally speaking, the younger the voter, the more likely they were to vote for Obama; Hillary received most of the older votes. And it’s hard to tell exactly, but it also looks like the more formal education an individual had, the more likely they were to vote for Obama.
Keep in mind that these statistics are meant to serve as a very broad view of the nation and may or may not reflect your own personal views.
