The jar/vase is split into two sections so technically, your whale can be as long as it wants (but close proximity probably works best).
I don’t normally keep flowers sitting around my house, but man, I would if I owned this whale jar. Unfortunately, the item is not currently being produced or manufactured, but Alessandro is looking into it.
I like the black one shown above, but there’s a white one too for those darker surroundings.

Industrial designer Alessandro Bêda, from Portugal had a very interesting idea, when he designed this two-piece flower vase in the shape of a whale. The flowers, placed in the whale’s ‘blow hole’, are like a colorful burst of water spray. Bêda’s vase is still in the concept phase, but he is looking to have it produced and on the market.
