HUF Big H hat

I think there’s a point in everyone’s life when they suddenly decide that they need to get a hat that has the first letter of their favorite word — their own name. I think it’s one of those unique identity situations that only exists for a short period of time before vanishing into thin air. Sorta like a mid-life crisis for your head, maybe (your head really wants people to ask what the letter stands for).

Anyway, whatever the reason is, I have a feeling that I never quite got out of that phase. I always stop and pause when I see a hat with the letter H on it (for example, those Hofstra team hats). And it’s not even like I really like the hat. Most of the time, the hat is hideous (for example, those Hofstra team hats), but I just feel myself drawn to it regardless.

The same goes with the Big H hats from HUF shown above. I don’t think I’d ever wear it, but it’s kinda cool…just because it has the letter H on it. That’s all. You’d have to have a name that starts with H to know what I mean.
