It rained really hard in Queens last night

There was some heavy rain coming down in Queens last night and the area where I’m staying was partially underwater.

At one point, the water became so deep that I had to literally swim from the car to the front door, all while dodging incredibly large waves crashing over my head! The water level was nearly above my neck line and I’m sure I would have drowned were it not for the floaties I was wearing on my arms! Whew!
