Sandy's Deli by Hee Jin Kang

For two years, Hee Jin Kang used a 4×5 view camera to capture the accumulation of things located inside Sandy’s Deli, the name of her parents’ deli in an outer-borough of New York City (presumably in Brooklyn).

The portraits of her parents are unconventional in the sense that she doesn’t actually ever photograph the faces of her parents. It’s a remarkable way of telling people’s stories through the objectification of their things.
