See the New York City Waterfalls by bike

The City of New York has published detailed maps on how to view the upcoming New York City Waterfalls by bike. The PDF map shows you where the waterfalls will be, where the bike paths are, where you can walk, where the Subway stations are, where the facilities are located, and where you can park/stand to view the falls at their best angle.
All in all, it’s a wealth of information that’s definitely going to help everybody enjoy this fantastic public artwork from Olafur Eliasson.
If you’re in the dark about the New York City Waterfalls, here’s what you need to know: Between June 26 and October 13, there will be 4 man-made water falls in various locations along the waterfront. One will be on the Brooklyn anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge, another will be between Piers 4 and 5 near the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, a third will be in Lower Manhattan at Pier 35 north of the Manhattan Bridge, and the last will be on the north shore of Governors Island. Each waterfall will be on and flowing every day between 7AM and 10PM.
I love that I’ll be home just in time for this. I can’t wait to ride my bike to all of these locations.
