A passion for so many topics

Here’s a description of my blog that somebody made up over at Airliners.net.

This guy’s blog has 3 google ads per page. He’s writing on as many topics as he can, because writing on topics brings visitors, and visitors click on ads. Do you think he has a passion for so many topics? I guess not. There is no corporation, no “commercial” look, but there is a guy who is spending hours on that blog because he is earning money. He could easily get a thousand bucks per month. Maybe he’s a student and this is added revenue (probably not). Maybe he has 5 other sites and is living not badly thru his sites (probably). If he’s living in India he’s having a nice life.

This couldn’t be more wrong. Anybody who reads this site regularly knows that I only post stuff that interests me personally. These interests are often things I really like or find funny, and occasionally it includes things that I find really terrible (often in a fashion-related sense). But to say that I post stuff simply to attract readers, regardless of my interests on that topic, is very incorrect.

Disclaimer: The forum post is regarding a mistake I made in using a photographer’s photo without his permission. My post on the An-225 (the very big airplane) has been UNpublished until I find photos that are freely available to use.
