Take this with a grain of salt, but the Daily Mail is reporting that the mystery person behind the infamous Banksy graffiti and stencil artwork is actually a man by the name of Robin Gunningham.
For years, there has been widespread rumor that Banksy is either a man by the name of “Robin Banks” or a group of individuals working collectively under that name. But the new investigation by The Daily Mail reveals a bit more about Banksy by interviewing friends and associates who all either deny or suspiciously confirm the relation of the two names. It’s a trail of clues and dead-ends that only add to the mystery behind the elusive street artist.
While none of the research in the article can be 100% confirmed, it’s still an interesting read into how one of the biggest names in street art manages to remain anonymous.
