A Dollar Store on Mulberry Street

I bought these Bellagio Bee playing cards for $1.
I don’t know if this is widely known information or not, but there’s a fantastic dollar store on Mulberry Street in Chinatown between Canal Street and Bayard Street. The store is called A Dollar Store. Like all great Chinese places, the name tells you exactly what it is.
My cousin brought me in there today for fun because she said that there’s always random things you can buy in there and she was right. Inside the store is a treasure trove of goodies both useful and not. There’s walls of stationary, electrical parts, items for arts and crafts, and also some of the most random things you’ll never think to find in a dollar store (or things you never thought could be as cheap as a dollar).
Suffice it to say, I think I’ll pay a visit to this store every time I’m in the neighborhood. You never know how much fun a dollar can bring.

I think once upon a time (like back when we were in hs) this was a 25cent store, but at that point, they already had stopped selling most things for 25 cents. I’m glad that they correcting their misleading store name.
