Yours truly has been selected among New York City’s finest to appear on the panel for the 6th grand jury of New York County.
Starting today and lasting a total of 4 weeks (every weekday for 3 hours), I will be sitting in a room with 22 other fellow grand jurors deciding whether or not somebody should be indicted for a particular crime (in this case, a homicide). Pretty cool, huh!
I can’t write any more details because I may end up going to jail. After my completion of this grand jury time, I will not be called on by the state of New York to decide anybody else’s fate for another 8 years. HAPPY HAPPY!!! :)
Oh man, that’s cool! Remember that the prosecutor does stuff at your discretion, not the other way around, and you get to decide what happens. Don’t let him/her bully you! You can demand to talk to witnesses, to see evidence… it’s up to you! Take over the investigation!
additionally you get free lunch when you deliberate….go all out.
you are the only person who is happy to serve.
