My new bicycle!

I went and picked up my new bicycle from Chelsea Bicycles today on 26th Street. Man, I’ve only ridden it for a few streets, but I already love it!

I ended up purchasing a Redline R540, a bike classified as a “fitness series” road bike. Mmm, the response on this baby is awesome and it’s pretty lightweight. I am going to ride this bike everywhere.

Nice! You finally got one. I just saw a bike messenger today with the same brand. I’ve never really heard of redline before, I guess they’ve been around. That’s some lethal handle bars you have there. perfect for cabbies cutting you! I see you have the superdry bag too!!

Redline bikes have been around for ever. I had several BMX style redlines throughout the eighties. Redline was one of the premier bike mfg back then and if you saw the name redline you knew you were looking at a serious bike. Redline is definitley a quality brand. I was suprised to see a road/hybrid style bike made by them. Ive been in the market for a good one and was pleasently suprised to see this Redline model…i think im going to make a purchase this week.
