Starbucks to close 9 (maybe 10) stores in Manhattan
Starbucks released a complete list of the approximately 600 stores it plans to close by 2009, and about 9 (or 10) of these will be in New York City.
Those locations, according to the New York Times are:
- 340 Madison Avenue
- 400 Madison Avenue
- 1600 Broadway
- 1675 Broadway
- 565 Fifth Avenue
- the one on the 5th floor of Macy’s department store
Despite these closings, there are still about 255 Starbucks stores to go to in order to get your caffeine fix.
