
I wasn’t in New York when this Oreo ad campaign was in effect, but I must say that it’s a pretty clever use of an elevator.
On the elevator shaft is a picture of a glass of milk, and on the elevator car, a large Oreo cookie is placed in such a position so that when the car gets to the bottom, it looks as if the Oreo is being dunked into the milk.
I took a close look at the photo (thanks Norman!) and I’m 100% sure that this ad was inside what was formerly known as Manhattan Mall (in Midtown Manhattan). I went into Manhattan Mall the other day and what’s left is a sad excuse for a shopping centre. Most of the place is closed and under construction. Oh well.
