I sorta did this for fun, not really knowing what to expect as a result of my search for directions, but I did it anyway.
I went to Google Maps and asked it how to get from my house in NYC to a popular shopping mall in Melbourne called Melbourne Central. To my surprise, Google Maps actually returned a result that got me from point A to point B.
The problem, if you can call it that, is that Google Maps expects me to actually kayak the Pacific Ocean to get to my destination. Somehow in the Google brain of computers, this seemed like a justified route to take. Maybe one day I will get to kayak the Pacific…

i think this is a joke that google does, ive seen it on googles blog
It’s a small improvement from when google maps used to ask you to swim.
It seems though you can’t over the Atlantic Ocean.
я тоже нашел свой дом на карте. Прикольная штука скажу я Вам.
haha. google is hilarious.
I asked a similar question, I asked how to get from Tokyo, to my home in Massachuettes. It gave me 3 options, by car, by bus, or by walking, it said bus and walking were not an option so I was stuck with a car. It told me to drive, not to the airport or ocean, but the north most part of Japan. Kayak southeast to Hawaii (with my car?). Drive to the north most part of Hawaii. Kayak to the north part of washington, and casually asks me to drive from washington to massachuettes. [:
