People reacting during the earthquake in LA

You may have heard about the moderate 5.4 magnitude earthquake that hit 35 miles east of LA on Tuesday morning. It wasn’t “the big one”, but it was violent enough to cause minor disruption and give a lot of people in downtown LA quite a shock.

Raw video is coming in from the Associated Press of several incidences where people were caught off-guard during the quake (actually, I guess it’s ALWAYS people caught off-guard since nobody really knows when an earthquake will strike).

The videos are startling and they show people running outside as fast as possible, which I believe to be the right thing to do when you feel the ground below you shaking. Anyway, check out the videos below.

    I was taking day one of the bar exam when it struck, so running outside was not an option (though I wanted it to be one).

    oii. i was at art center…i just got out of class, was talking to a friend.. and we were on the bridge that connects the two buildings. then it shook and im like wtf was that… i thought it was some truck that ran into the building
