Photoshop Disasters, the blog that collects and showcases incidences of bad Photoshop trickery, recently made a terrible mistake in saying that a real photo was actually Photoshop’d. The photo in question was one of Tim Donaghy from the AP that allegedly featured a mysterious hand on Donaghy’s left shoulder.
The site, which usually is spot-on and accompanies each post with a witty remark, ended up being blasted with comment after comment (after comment after comment…) about the obvious body that stood to the right of Donaghy. It wasn’t so much the mistake that was funny, but the fact that 200 or so people decided to all say the same thing is quite up there on the humor scale.
I can’t imagine what this might have played out like in real life.
The particular entry is now affixed with a disclaimer of “Ok, whatever”. Nice.
