Slow motion lightning strike

Unlike many other “slow motion lightning” videos available on YouTube (and other internet video websites), this particular video is actually shot at a high frame rate. The other ones are just regular videos played at a slower speed.

Because this video is shot at a high frame rate, you can see exactly — and with lots of detail — how the lightning bolt travels and remains in the air as it strikes.
