88 drummers gather for 88-minute jam session in DUMBO

A lot of people are taking advantage of the lucky number eight! Japanese noise group, Boredoms, is planning on gathering 88 drummers together at the Williamsburg Waterfront (in DUMBO) tonight at 8PM to play an 88-minute jam session of noise and other drum sounds. There will be special guests from We Are Scientists there!
Last year, Boredoms did a similar event on July 7, 2007 (7/7/07) and gathered 77 drummers to play for 77 minutes. Check out the videos below from last year’s performance.
