Ociu from Zava: A giant overhead light

The Ociu from Zava is a giant overhead lamp that illuminates a wide area of living space. [via]

The diameter of the Ociu lamp is 185 cm (a bit more than 72″) and the height of the lamp (not including the hanging cord) is 80 cm (or about 30″). Believe it or not, the lamp uses just one lightbulb that is 150 watts. I can’t fully understand the website because it’s in a different language, but I think there is also a 2-lightbulb configuration as well. No word on pricing but I assume it’s about a gazillion dollars. Stuff that looks like this usually are.
