A shopkeeper in Spain has found the face of Homer Simpson on a 1 Euro coin! [via]
Jose Martinez, a shop owner in Aviles, Spain was counting his coins when he saw the bulging eyes looking right back at him instead of the usual portrait of King Juan Carlos. With this likely being the only Homer Simpson Euro in circulation, it seems rather odd that this popular culture icon wouldn’t illicit more than a 20 Euro offer from people wanting to add this coin to their collection.
