I need some sort of backup system (not necessarily this one)

Today, I did something really stupid that made me realize just how important it is to back up my information regularly.

I need some sort of dedicated backup system for the files on my computer. For all of my life, I’ve been told by various people that backing up things can be the smartest thing I do on a computer. I followed this rule, but only to my own convenience, which meant that I didn’t back up nearly as much or as often as I should.

The results of being lazy for so long have finally caught up to me and now I am suffering because of it.

Apple’s Time Capsule is exactly the type of product that I need. Most of the reviews seem favorable, although there are some negative reviews that seem strong enough to outweigh the positive ones. Whatever, I could care less about what kind of backup system I get. I just really need one RIGHT NOW.

Update: I believe my dad is giving me one that he has left over from…some other place. My dad always seems to have these things stored away.
