Mygazines: Share and read magazine articles online for free!

This is my new favorite website. Mygazines is the place to go to if you want to read popular (and some not-so-popular) magazines without buying them or borrowing them from a friend. The community at Mygazines shares, uploads, and archives relatively hi-res scans of nearly every page in a magazine (including advertisements).

Sign up for an account at Mygazines and you can rate, store, and collect magazines and articles that you like. This is good for when you want to go back to an article that you found useful or interesting without having to go through a physical library of publications. You can also add “subscriptions” to let Mygazines notify you of when a new magazine for a certain topic is uploaded. That way you can read it as soon as it becomes available. It’s easy and there’s no sweating involved!

Just to give you an example of the quality of the scans, check out the example taken from the July 2008 New York Magazine Eat Cheap issue.

I’d say that this website is worth bookmarking. You never know when you might miss an issue!
