I don’t follow video game news too much, so this comes as news to me. It turns out that one of the best-selling video game titles of all time has a sequel in the works (this sequel was apparently discussed as early as 2006, but hey, I don’t follow video game news remember?). The Sims 3 is set to be released in February 2009, hoping to capitalize on the enormous fan-base situated around the current Sims titles that are out (way too many to name).
Judging on the teaser video below, it seems like The Sims 3 will focus around interactions outside of the house. This includes gameplay of your Sim at work and play around the neighborhood.
Graphics-wise, The Sims 3 looks more or less like The Sims 2 titles (at least from what I can tell from screenshots).

I’ve been playing the sims since….. Well, it’s been a long time. I really can’t wait for sims 3 to come out. The graphics seem MUCH better, and the game play gets better and better! I am sad that they pushed back the date though.
