Camouflage portraits by Liu Bolin

Liu Bolin has an amazing series of photos that he takes of people camouflaged into their surroundings by use of body paint. The pictures are centered around China and shed some light on the aspect of being “merged” into a society where one no longer has to think to survive.

Take what you will from Liu Bolin’s artist statement, but I think his photos are pretty neat. It sort of reminds me of the transparent screen thing that people sometimes do with their monitors.
