Blackberry Bold will not be launching in US markets after all

August 29, 2008 @ 11:19 am

Sources close to RIM are saying that the Blackberry 9000 (known as the Blackberry Bold) is being held from the US market because it doesn’t quite hold up to the expectations of business professionals in product tests. While the launched of the Bold has been rather successful in other international markets, RIM is disappointed in the delay of the product release and hoping to forgo the launch of the Bold altogether in the US in order to “make room for a better product”.

This news comes just 1 day after some AT&T employees were spreading rumors of a September 12th launch date for the device while others were saying that it would launch on October 2nd.

Well, it was nice knowing ya, Bold. I guess you were never meant to be in American hands.

Sarah Palin is your Republican Vice President candidate

August 29, 2008 @ 11:03 am

Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has selected Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate in the 2008 US Presidential elections. Palin isn’t the first woman to ever be selected as a VP candidate in the US. There’s a long list of female candidates before her that never actually made it as VP in the US.

If McCain wins the 2008 Presidential Election, Palin will be history’s first female Vice President for the United States of America.

For the record, her last name is pronouced PALE-IN.
