Movie voice actor, Don LaFontaine, dead at age 68

Don LaFontaine, the voiceover master whose voice can be heard in over 5000 film intros and trailers and over 750,000 TV shows, passed away at the age of 68 on Monday, September 1, 2008.

There’s already a tribute website for Don online where you can offer condolences and pay your virtual respects to the man who transformed the film industry.

the other announcers were nowhere near as good as don. trailers might not ever be the same again…
