Today is the first day of my last year in school

New York City public schools officially began their Fall session today, and since Parsons follows a very similar schedule with Public Schools in NYC, that means that my first official day of class is today as well.

I’ve always been one to be excited for the first day back at school. Not because I like going to school (I’d much rather be working), but because I get to see everybody that I didn’t get a chance to see over the Summer. And since I’ve been away in Australia for a whole year, this back-to-school week is especially neat because I get to see people that I haven’t seen for a whole year.

Even though I’m excited to go back, I really can’t be bothered at the moment to do anything related to my studies. I need something to get me back to my camera.

BUT, I do have new notebooks, so I’m happy about that.
