The Archive: Paul Mawhinney and his massive record collection

The Archive from Sean Dunne on Vimeo.

Paul Mawhinney is currently the owner of the world’s largest record collection. His collection includes about 3 million records, 300,000 CDs, and more than 6 million songs. With a collection that large, you can bet that Paul has a variety of rare discs and originals, all of which lend a hand toward making his collection an estimated $50 million.

Unfortunately, due to lack of interest in records and increasing health problems due to diabetes, Paul has had to put his entire collection up for sale. He is asking for $3 million, which is peanuts compared to the vast treasures and priceless musical artifacts that are likely located within his collection.

This video by Sean Dunne is the story of Paul Mawhinney and his love for music. There’s absolutely nothing bad that I can say about this video. It’s just pure goodness.
