Cool Feet to cool your laptop down

At the moment, I’m using an old wallet box to lift my laptop off of the tabletop so it can be a bit cooler. The MacBook Pro has this retarded cooling system that basically doesn’t do its job very well at all. The laptop I work on gets extremely hot very quickly and if I didn’t lift it off from its base, the laptop would probably catch fire.

I’ve looked into a lot of laptop cooling devices, and I even bought one (but I returned it because it didn’t really fit my laptop size), but none really do the job as well as my trusty wallet box contraption.

These Cool Feet lifters for laptops do the exact same job my wallet box does, but it makes the whole thing look a bit more sophisticated (I mean, honestly, the wallet box is fug). [via]

For $10.50, I’d actually buy a set and use it. Not bad, not bad. Take a look at this illustration of how the laptop cools down from such an elevation.

i need my laptop to get hot enough so that i can cook on it if I ever find myself in a situation where eggs are everywhere, i’m hungry, and there is no stove around.
