China’s population of approximately 1.3 billion is going to have a pretty cool paper currency to add to their collection. The newly unveiled 10 Yuan will show a picture of the famous Bird’s Nest structure rather than the portrait of Mao Zedong. [via]

The Bird’s Nest is the nickname of the Bejing National Stadium which was built specifically for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. It’s an impressive structure and I think it’s pretty neat that it’s being honored on the 10 Yuan note.

UPDATE: Oh, I forgot to add that there will only be 6 million of these released into circulation, so if you get one, keep it for MORE money later.
