Canon 5D Mark II can shoot HD video. Yeah, that’s right. HD.

Hot off the press and confirmed: The Canon 5D Mark II can shoot HD videos. Add that on top of the 21MP full-frame CMOS image sensor and DIGIC 4 processor and you’ve got a full-fledged media house in your hand that’s capable of capturing some of the highest quality images in the industry.
The sensor can capture HD video at 1920 x 1080 resolution for up to 12 minutes (pretty awesome for a device that isn’t actually a camcorder or video camera) and up to 24 minutes on standard definition.
The camera body alone will set you back $2700.
