Google G1 was supposed to be a great phone

But the more I read reviews of it, the more I think it’s a good device gone sour. A multimedia smartphone with no proper headphone jack? No video recording from the camera? No multi-touch touchscreen? And a 1GB limit on “unlimited” 3G data plans? That’s just whack.

And my goodness, is this phone ugly or what?

I completely agree. I was looking forward to possibly switching from my Blackberry until the G1 had the odds against it? A monthly limit of 1GB? No thanks, I’ll stick to my BB.
