Sarah Palin cannot name a Supreme Court case she disagrees with

2008 October 2

First off, I just want to say how excited I am about the Vice Presidential debates airing tonight between Biden and Palin. It’s going to be the most entertaining piece of television I’ve watched in a very long time. I’m just going to say that right now because I know it’ll prove to be true once the debates air. I mean, nobody, and I do mean nobody, has proven to be more funny, entertaining, laughable, and down-right idiotic recently than Sarah Palin.

In the video segment above, Katie Couric asks Vice Presidential nominees about Supreme Court decisions that they feel strongly for or against (starting off with Roe vs Wade). Biden’s answer is logical and coherent while Palin’s is just the complete opposite. Really, it is. I mean, her sentence structures don’t even flow, so it’s hard to hear what she’s saying if she was even saying anything correct at all.

I went through the trouble of typing out the transcript to the entire second-half of the video where Sarah Palin babbles on and on just to show you how illogical her sentences are. Does this woman know anything at all about what it takes to be the Vice President of the United States?

Katie Couric: What other Supreme Court decisions do you disagree with?

Sarah Palin: Mmm. Well, let’s see. There’s, of course, in the great history of America there have been rulings that, um, there’s never going to be absolute consensus by every American, and there are those issues again, like Roe vs Wade where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there so, you know going through the history of America there would be others. But um…

Katie Couric: Can you think of any?

Sarah Palin: Well, I would think of any again that could be best dealt with at a local level maybe I would take issue with but um, you know as a mayor and as a governor and even as a Vice President if I’m so privileged to serve would be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it reads today…

Seriously, WTF is she saying. WTF IS SHE SAYING?

I hope they used the Sarah Palin online generator to write her answers. That would be great!

a) i didn’t even think she knew what roe vs wade was
b) back in elementary school, teachers used to tell us to just answer the question and keep it simple. a long response doesn’t always mean that the question is answered. i think she might need to go back and reeducate herself. or educate herself in the first place. obviously by someone who knows something.
