Circuit-Breaker levels for Dow Jones Industrial Average

My friend Jon has this link in his status about Circuit-Breaker levels for the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Basically, if the Dow Jones Industrial average falls beyond a certain point-level, all trading can be halted so that traders can get a better grasp of the information that is coming in and out and thus make a better informed decision about their stocks.

I’m sure people who follow the stock exchange know this already, but I didn’t, and now I do, and now I feel more complete.

Oh, did you hear? The Dow Jones and S&P Index fell about 8 percent this morning. We are living in great times.
