Playing around with 280 Slides

Hmmm, I’m just testing to see if the 280 Slides presentation I made will embed.

Anyway, I just started playing with 280 Slides, an online presentation maker/viewer that’s very much like Apple’s Keynote application. The 280 Slides web editor is as bare-bones as it gets without being completely useless. I imagine that this web app would be good for emergencies…but honestly, I cannot think of a situation that I would be in where I would need a PowerPoint presentation RIGHT AWAY.

Still, 280 Slides is fun to fool around with. Check it out if you’ve got nothing better to do.

The first time I played it, it worked okay, except it was a little tricky to get the embedded YouTube video to play. Then I pressed refresh, and now the slideshow won’t stop loading. Doesn’t seem very reliable… what if I was supposed to be giving this as a presentation in front of hundreds of people, and it never stopped loading?

yeah, it’s not as reliable as I would have hoped.
