The plain and yellow Newsweek cover

October 19, 2008 @ 10:38 pm

Following a week of controversy surrounding their un-retouched photo of Sarah Palin on their cover, Newsweek decided to keep it simple and bold this week in their latest cover on newsstands now. The cover for the October 20, 2008 issue is bright yellow with no image or photo whatsoever. Instead of the usual photo or illustration, Newsweek decided to put one line of copy that says “The Bright Side” (and then the author’s name).

It’s a very simple cover that’s sure to catch one’s eye, especially with that crazy yellow.
