Meadowlands by Joshua Lutz

Some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken were taken in New Jersey in an area close to the Meadowlands. I remember the time I went with Ethan there to shoot photos and we both came back with some very surreal work (airplanes, fields, highways, shipping containers). Ever since that time, I’ve wanted to go back there (or near there) so that I could take some more pictures. Something about a place as barren and left to itself like the Meadowlands attracts my interest.

I was just looking at Joshua Lutz’s photographs of the Meadowlands and it really made me want to go back. And if I don’t get a chance to go back to the Meadowlands, I’ll be happy to capture some photos in Jersey City (the undeveloped parts).
