This video is just incredible because I think of how quickly a lady bug takes off and then I realize that this video captures the same action but at a frame rate so fast that it takes 1 minute and 45 seconds just to show it.
Just amazing how much technology can change the way we view things.
after watching this, i’m not sure i even knew ladybugs had wings…

OH DUDE! Me neither!! I always thought they flapped with those spotted wing thingies which I guess are just covers to protect the actual wings! I want to see how they conceal the wings when they land, like how the wings fold back in.
