November marks deer mating season, so drive carefully!

The Associated Press is reporting that animal-vehicle fatalities are on the rise and that 223 people died as a result of these types of accidents on the road.

In addition, statistics show that November is the highest month in terms of animal-vehicle accidents because it is in the middle of fall mating season.

So the general rule to follow, at least for the next month or so, is that if you’re driving in a deer-infested area (trees?), then be alert and drive slowly.
