Wow. Ok, so if you’re going to go to Starbucks and get a free coffee after voting, here’s a tip: DON’T.
They really don’t want to give the free coffee out at all.
I managed to get one only after being belittled by the staff at my local Starbucks for going in and taking advantage of a promotion that THEY PUT ON THEMSELVES. If they’re going to be such pricks about giving away a free cup of coffee, then why advertise the event at all?

they might have read this and got worried: http://www.ajc.com/services/content/shared-blogs/ajc/politicalinsider/entries/2008/11/03/handel_says_starbucks_may_have.html
either way, they’re stupid.
Here in Seattle, you get a free coffee whether you voted or not! It’s because of a state law that prohibits payments or rewards for registering, voting, or not voting. So Starbucks here changed their rules: they’re giving coffee to everybody so that they don’t break the law. It doesn’t matter to me, though, because I don’t drink coffee.
dag bro what happened? lol . dont tell me you went to the one on 28th and 7th, i just came from there and they reminded me before i paid that the coffee was free. But I love it when businesses redefine the term “customer service” for me. It never ceases to amaze me. gotta love the city!
