Celebrating with a big flag at Union Square

I just came back from Union Square where there’s a mega gathering going on to celebrate the election of Obama as President. Given the blue-state nature of New York, it’s no surprise to me that this happened as soon as the news broke out. Anyway, Norman, Simon and I stopped by and joined in on the festivities which included a huge (like, really really really big) flag being brought out and carried over people’s heads.

More photos inside. I took some videos as well, but I’ll post that later when I get it together.

Dang, that is a HUGE flag. Hehheh, it’s like in elementary school when we would play with that parachute thing in P.E.
