Yosemite National Park in 17 gigapixels

Gerard Maynard returns with his amazing ultra-resolution photography, this time successfully photographing Yosemite National Park.
The final Gigapixel photo is a composite of photos taken between May 30 and June 8, 2008. The result is an impressive view of a valley in Yosemite National Park with incomparable detail to anything that’s currently out. From the full image above, you can literally zoom in to a specific area and see people driving, sunbathing, or just have a closer look at the trees and rocks scattered about.
