I keep hearing her on the radio. I find it very annoying when they play her songs over and over…. over … and over….
what good song doesnt get played over and over..like i mean everyone hit song gets overplayed eventually..lollipop, girlfriend, single ladies, just dance, low, soujah boy, bleeding love…just cuz its annoying to hear that song over again doenst make her annoying..everyone has that one song that gets played way too much on the radio

In terms of musical style and the attempted satire in her work (i.e. calling people gay but not actually meaning homosexual – wow thats deep) she’s so trying to be Lily Allen, and she’s failing miserable. There’s also inherent failed attempts at being like Anna Matronic of the Scissor Sisters, who interestingly just thinks she’s a dumb bitch who exploits other people’s sexuality. Added to which, she can’t actually sing, so her sound has become so electronically altered she could be likened to pretty much any wannabe rock n’roller who in actual fact is just a pop mistake.
Style: Again Lily Allen, Dita Von Teese, Bettie Page, Early Gaga.
I disagree, I love Katy Perry and she is AWESOME live. There are alot of rubbish artists out there, but you don’t see me creatin snide websites in order to slag them off. Find something more productive to do with your time, no need for all this bad feeling :)

She is nothing new! A song that rapes your ear again and again that catches in everyone’s ear! The last music genre that was great was grunge! Please! Don’t recycle a music genre that people hate and really sing with out the help of machines! You just need a guitar and mic!
OH GOD she’s annoying! She’s so fake and makes stupid pointed remarks all the time to try and sound edgy. She can’t sing, she really can’t, her live performances are just PAINFUL! She does also exploit the gay community no end. I’d love to see Beth Ditto bitch slap her, I mean she already has both verbally and by having more talent than Perry has in her little finger… but never the less, it would be satisfying!
