Arnott’s is sharing their famous Tim Tam recipe with their US sister-company Pepperidge Farm in hopes of getting Americans to love the chocolate cookie that Australians have been all over for the past 40 years. The Tim Tam packs in regular chocolate and caramel are to be sold exclusively at Target beginning November 2008 until March 2009.
I’m assuming that after March 2009, Campbell Soup Co., which owns Arnott’s and Pepperidge Farm, will take a look at how well the Tim Tam sales did and decide from there whether to make Tim Tam cookies a staple of American diets!
I cannot wait to go to my local Target to see if they’ve already got these in stock! The suggested retail price of each cookie pack is $3.39.
target?! wooooohoooo!!! yum yum yum
how’d i know you’d say this ;)
YAY!
What’s up with white packaging??? YUK. Hopefully it tastes just as good as it does down ‘ere
yeah, the white packaging is ugly compared to the Arnott’s packaging.
Tim tam slam + a big bite of a banana = mMmmm….
These are not even CLOSE to the real ones…don’t waste your money…
They are exactly the same.
They don’t look anything like Aussie (real) Tim Tams I bet they are disgusting!!!!
the packaging doesn’t, but on the inside they are exactly the same. same shape, same taste. same color even. same texture.
Blogs like this are why I use the internet.
I just ate some, the package says ” Product of Australia”. I am willing to bet they are made by Arnott and put in a Pepperidge Farm package. Arrnot is owned by the same company who owns Pepperage Farm’s ( Campbell Soup Company ) . Think about it…..how many American’s have heard of Arnott? Probably not that many. How many have heard of Pepperidge Farm’s ? Ton’s. Go get some……they are yummy!!
