Camouflage class at NYU, circa 1943

This photo is just so interesting to me. The fact that there exists a class solely dedicated to camouflage technique and art at NYU during the 1940’s is kinda fascinating. I really wonder if NYU still has this class tucked away in their curriculum somewhere. It’d be neat if somehow I could compare these two photos to a modern-day camouflage class (if there even still is one).

Images courtesy of The Library of Congress (at The Commons on Flickr). See? There’s a whole treasure chest of photos to discover there!
