The Big Picture delivers once again with an amazing set of photos on the recent wildfires affecting Los Angeles. Some of the photos are really beautiful while others depict the utter destruction facing some communities in California. I’m always amazed at how beautiful natural disasters like this appear. On one end there’s much damage going on, and on the other end, there’s just this almost-graceful dance of flames shooting up into the sky.

Don’t get me wrong though, I wouldn’t wish this situation on anybody — friend or foe.

I am Director/Producer of a Documentary (feature film) concerning concrete solutions to help reduce Global Warming effects of forest and brush fires. I am looking for dramatic forest and brush fire HD footage. The Califoria fires are of particular interest because of the being so close to populated areas. Did you know that one large fire in Indonesia put out as much CO2 into the atmosphere as all of the vehicles on the planet for aprox 3/4 of a year. There are thousands of fires each year around the globe. As part of our documentary we are seeking dramtic footage of forest and brush fires, storms and other climate related disastes. Our budgets are also very small. If anyone can help, would be greatly appreciated. Full credits would be provided.
