Six Apart officially kills Pownce

December 1, 2008 @ 8:02 pm

Well, that seemed a bit short-lived. Pownce, the micro-blogging website often compared to Twitter is closing its doors on December 15th. After being stagnant for quite some time, it wasn’t a surprise that Six Apart decided to pull the plug and get its workers behind things like Vox and Movable Type.

Oh well, I don’t have much to export from my Pownce account, so I’ll just let it rest as is. I never found much use for Pownce’s features anyway.

By the way, I’ve discovered the beauty of micro-blogging every minute detail of my life, so you can follow me on Twitter if you want. It’s updated ALL THE TIME.
